I'm not a fan of politics on any level. But I do want to pose a question that maybe my more seasoned and wiser friends here can educate me on.
If we are to be the United States, why oh why did we break up into the two parties we have?
Why couldn't we just be Americans instead of Democrats or Republicans?
How's that been working for us these past couple of centuries?
Just seems rather counterintuitive to what our founding fathers wanted for this great nation we live in today, doesn't it?
Now, you pitch in your thoughts on this matter, please! I'm all ears!
